Buying a car can be a very stressful experience. Many of us don’t know what to do or who to ask. Small details can lead to a much greater expense than expected and its just natural to be a little intimidated by the challenge. There are many traps for new owners and you should be prepared to deal with them properly. Here we present 15 useful tips for new/amateur car owners
#1/15 Low ball your lowest possible price
The first thing a car salesman will ask you is “what’s your budget” or “How much are you willing to pay?”, this is a very common trap to make you spill the beans about how much money you have, after that, you can expect the salesman to propose an even higher price. To avoid this, be vague, never tell them an actual amount, instead try to figure out the lowest offer they have received for that particular car model. If you have to say a number, try to find the price of the car online and say that you are willing to pay 10% less than that.
